Service Description
A self-serve studio built for Vancouver’s creators that makes recording simple, affordable, and community powered. Book the room, plug in, hit record. Members get preferred rates and monthly free time. Elevate: $25 dollars per hour and 3 free hours per month. Free hours may be applied once per booking, which means you can redeem up to the number of free hours allowed in a single day only once, and you cannot stack multiple redemptions into one long session. Members can't combine hours together in a single session Free hours do not roll over to future months. Free hours carry no cash value, cannot be transferred, and are applied only to the booker on the associated active membership. If a membership is paused, cancelled, or becomes delinquent, unused free hours are forfeited. The Studio reserves the right to restrict redemption of free hours on certain high-demand blocks in order to maintain equitable access and financial sustainability. We will communicate any such restrictions in advance through the booking page.
Cancellation Policy
Beatcave Studio Vancouver is a self-serve recording room. Public creators can unlock booking with a $35/mth Public Access Pass at the public hourly rate. Members get stronger value: Connect $30/hour with a two hour minimum, Build $30/hour plus 2 free hours monthly, Free hours may be redeemed once per booking (per day), cannot be stacked, do not roll over, and may be limited on peak blocks. Elevate $25/hour plus 4 free hours monthly. Free hours may be redeemed once per booking, cannot be stacked, do not roll over, and may be limited on peak blocks. All sessions have a two hour minimum. Setup and teardown must fit your time. Overtime, if available, is billed in 30 minute increments at your rate. Unique entry codes are issued after confirmation. Do not share access. Cancellations or reschedules must be done online by the booker. More than 48 hours before start, no fee. From 48 to 24 hours, fee equals 50 percent of the two hour minimum at your applicable rate. Less than 24 hours, fee equals 100 percent of the two hour minimum. No-show occurs 15 minutes after start without contact and is charged 100 percent of the two hour minimum. A valid card on file is required. By booking, you authorize charges for late cancellation, no-show, overtime, cleaning, damage, and policy violations. All prices are in CAD. Treat the room and gear with care. Report issues at the start using the in-room checklist. Do not rewire, move acoustic panels, defeat safety devices, or modify cabling. You are responsible for repair or replacement at market value for damage to gear, furniture, treatment, fixtures, or access devices. Excess mess may incur a $25 cleaning or reset fee. Personal gear is welcome if it connects through standard inputs. Capacity is four unless pre-approved. Respectful conduct is mandatory. Smoking, vaping, open flames, and illegal substances are prohibited. Common areas may be monitored by camera. There is no surveillance inside the studio. We are not responsible for lost items. Unclaimed property is discarded after 14 days. By booking, you confirm you have read and accept these policies in full.
