Jerry Zhang co-founded Sodatone, an A&R research and music analytics platform. Artists discovered and signed through Sodatone have been streamed over 50 billion times - they include PinkPantheress, Joel Corry, Pink Sweat$, and more. Sodatone was acquired by Warner Music Group in 2018, under which Jerry took on the role of Senior Vice President, A&R Platforms, continuing to lead the Sodatone platform and team to independently serve all labels and publishers at WMG.
He founded and led Revolution Records, an imprint of Warner Records, taking uniquely digital approaches to marketing and development. Within 1 year, he signed Mareux (whose track "The Perfect Girl" was recently certified RIAA Platinum), A-Wall ("Loverboy" became a viral hit and was certified RIAA Gold), and Bravo the Bagchaser.
