New Chapter: Beatcave is Giving Music Created at CAMP Back to the Community

At Beatcave, we’ve always been relentless in our pursuit to create meaningful, transformative experiences for music creatives. Through CAMP, our flagship event, we’ve had the privilege of watching something special happen—hundreds of artists, producers, engineers, and writers from across genres, languages, and cultures coming together to collaborate and build.

Music creation is at the heart of CAMP. Over the years, we've witnessed an incredible volume of high-quality music being made—tracks that have ended up on editorial playlists across Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon, and even played on major stations like SiriusXM. That’s something we’re truly proud of.

Each CAMP typically produces over 50 songs in just a few days. That’s a massive amount of creativity, energy, and innovation packed into one experience. But we’ve learned that as a small but growing organization, it’s a challenge to properly process, release, and support every single record that’s made.

So, we’re making a change—and it applies to every CAMP moving forward and every CAMP in the past.

We’re Giving the Music Back to You

Previously, when you registered for CAMP, our form included a distribution clause that gave Beatcave the first right of refusal on any songs created during the event. That clause is no longer active.

Moving forward, all music created at CAMP belongs fully to the artists, producers, and collaborators who made it. We’re officially releasing all claims to the records created unless there is a co-release agreement discussed and agreed upon with specific artists and producers.

What This Means for You

  • If you created music at CAMP, you’re free to release it.

  • Reach out to your co-creators and collaborators to discuss next steps on how and when you'd like to drop your music.

  • Beatcave will not take any percentage of the songs unless we formally partner on a co-release.

We still believe in the power of great music and plan to continue releasing music through our own channels. But more importantly, we want to make space for more songs to be heard—not sitting on a hard drive, but out in the world where they belong.

How We’d Still Love to Support

If you’re planning to release a song made at CAMP, we’d love to be involved in a way that’s mutually beneficial:

  • Consider listing Beatcave as a primary or featured artist on your release (totally optional).

  • This helps us continue to build visibility for all CAMP-related music and drive streams to your track using our audience, playlist placements, and press connections.

  • You’re free to distribute the music however you’d like—it does not have to go through our system.

We’ve spent the past few years building trust, connections, and a growing music community that’s pushing boundaries. Now, we want to push even harder—for transparency, collaboration, and creative freedom.

We’re excited to watch these songs come to life and proud to stand behind the artists who created them. Thank you for being part of the journey. CAMP wouldn’t be what it is without you.

Let’s keep building.— The Beatcave Team
