Beatcave adds Alicia "Ace" West to the lineup for July 15th at El Mocambo's Starlight Room, and the night was already built for people who know how to hold a crowd.
There's a certain kind of night out that stops feeling special the second you walk in. You know the type. Music playing at a volume that says "ambiance" instead of "let's go," people orbiting the bar with their drinks held close and their conversations pointed inward, nobody quite connecting with anyone they didn't already know.
