Class is in session at Campus, and this September we’re diving headfirst into Music Production.
Each week, producers at every level will get the chance to sit with industry pros who’ve built platinum records, shaped iconic sounds, and pushed the culture forward. For just $12 a class, you’ll break down real placements, hear the stories behind the hits, and leave with the tools to apply those lessons to your own music.
Here’s who’s stepping into the classroom this month:
---
September 9 – Prezident Jeff

Toronto’s own Jeffery Offe, better known as Prezident Jeff, has carved out his lane as one of the city’s most respected producers. He’s crafted sounds for Wiz Khalifa, Kevin Gates, Little Simz, and J-Soul, but his standout work has been with OVO’s Roy Woods. Together, they’ve created some of Woods’ biggest tracks like Down Girl and Instinct. Jeff brings a wealth of experience in building records that balance mood with melody, making his Beat Breakdown an unmissable session for anyone wanting to understand how to craft records with timeless replay value.
---
September 16 – Tom French

From Toronto to the Billboard charts, Tom French has proven himself a powerhouse in the production world. He co-produced Joyner Lucas’s platinum single Ramen & OJ and landed placements with DaBaby (Blame It On Baby debuted at #1 on Billboard 200), Rod Wave, Lil Baby, and Murda Beatz. Known for his versatility in hip hop and pop, Tom’s session will walk you through how to balance technical precision with raw creativity — the same approach that’s made him a trusted name across multiple genres.

September 23 – ChefBoyarDru

With a name as unforgettable as his beats, ChefBoyarDru has become a tastemaker in modern hip hop and R&B. His sonic palette mixes hard-hitting drums with cinematic textures, a formula that’s attracted collaborations with Kodak Black, Jack Harlow, NAV, and Trippie Redd. Dru’s Beat Breakdown will show you how to bring that “big record” energy into your own production, giving you both the sauce and the structure to make your tracks stand out.

September 30 – Zypitano

Hailing from Ruwais, Abu Dhabi, and now based in Toronto, Zypitano is an 8× RIAA-certified platinum producer whose work has touched some of the biggest names in rap. He co-produced Rod Wave’s Rags2Riches, a 4× platinum smash featuring Lil Baby that topped U.S. radio, and has credits with Lil Durk (Petty Too), Bouba Savage and Lil Uzi Vert (Win A Lot), Kevin Gates, NLE Choppa, and more. Zypitano’s journey from samplemaker to multi-platinum producer is the blueprint for any creative looking to carve their own lane in today’s industry.
