Lorraine Lawson brings ADI to Campus: four Tuesdays to upgrade how you show up as an artist

Updated: 4 days ago

Campus exists for the moments that actually change your trajectory.

Not the “watch a tutorial and forget it” moments. The “I finally understand what I’m doing and how to explain it” moments.

Campus by Beatcave is our drop in education platform where members learn in real time with working professionals across music production, vocal engineering, music business, and sync licensing. It’s built to feel like school the way it should’ve been: practical, current, and connected to real outcomes.

And in March, we’re turning Campus into a four week artist development sprint through Lorraine’s ADI, the Artist Development Intensive.

Communication skills, it is at the heart of how we share who we are with others.

Program dates and Campus timing

ADI runs across four Tuesdays:

March 3, 10, 17, and 24

For this month, Campus shifts into a longer format so we can go deeper and actually build during the session:

6:00 to 8:00 PM ET

3:00 to 5:00 PM PT

It’s still Campus, meaning live learning and real time development, but the extra time is intentional. You’ll learn the framework, workshop it, and leave with something concrete instead of just notes.

Why Lorraine, and why now

Lorraine Lawson is the Founder and CEO of Lawson Vocal Studios, and she’s coached artists in environments where expectations are high and time is tight. She’s also been the official vocal coach for Schitt’s Creek (Season 5) and two seasons of CTV’s The Launch.

Translation: you’re not getting generic motivation. You’re getting a coach who understands what “ready” looks like and how to pull it out of artists fast.

This program is for the artist who’s tired of being hard to describe.

The artist whose music is strong, but their positioning is blurry.

The artist who can create, but freezes when someone asks, “So what’s your thing?”

ADI is built to fix that.

I encourage my clients to dig deeply into WHO they are so they can express who they are powerfully.

What you’ll work through each week

Week 1: Fill the Gap (March 3)

This is the honest audit.

Where are you right now, and where do you say you’re going?

More importantly, what’s missing between those two points?

This week is about identifying the gap in your artist identity, your presentation, and your consistency. If your sound says one thing but your content says another, or your story changes every time you introduce yourself, this is where that gets tightened.

Week 2: How to Be Memorable (March 10)

Being memorable is a skill.

Most artists default to “I make hip hop” or “I’m alternative R&B,” and that’s where the conversation dies. Lorraine’s approach pushes you to build recognition with intention so people can actually repeat what makes you you.

Not louder. Clearer.

Not more words. Better ones.

This week is where you shape the language and signals that help you stick after one listen, one scroll, one introduction.

Week 3: Make a Massive Impact (March 17)

Impact is what happens when someone feels your artistry, not just hears it.

This week focuses on presence and delivery: how you land in a room, how you translate your identity into performance and content, and how you build that “I need to pay attention” effect without forcing it.

If you’ve ever felt like you’re doing everything right but not getting the reaction your work deserves, this week is about closing that gap.

Week 4: Create Your Pitch (March 24)

This is the capstone.

You’ll build a pitch that sounds like a real person, not a press release. Something you can use when opportunities show up fast and you don’t have time to overthink it.

Session intros. Emails. Meetings. Networking. Collaborations. Show bookings. Sync conversations.

This is where the last three weeks become usable.

Where Campus fits into the bigger Beatcave ecosystem

Campus is one of the engines inside Beatcave membership. It’s where you sharpen the tools, build the knowledge, and get exposed to professionals who are actually in the work, not just talking about it.

ADI inside Campus is especially powerful because it doesn’t just help you “improve.” It helps you communicate. And communication is what turns talent into momentum.

Once you can clearly articulate who you are and what you do, everything in your career gets easier.

You collaborate faster because people understand your lane.

You pitch better because you can say it clean.

You perform with more intention because you know what you’re aiming for.

You create content that feels aligned because the story is stable.

That’s the real win.

What Elevate members get on top of Campus

All Beatcave members can plug into the community, but Elevate is the tier built for artists who want deeper support and real opportunity pipelines alongside education.

In addition to Campus access, Elevate members also get:

Monthly guest A&R sessions where you can bring work in progress and get feedback from industry professionals.

Access to submit to the Beatcave Sync Library, hosted on DISCO, so your catalogue is organized and presented in a way the sync world actually works with.

A significant discount to CAMP, our in person writing camp ecosystem where relationships and records get made in real rooms.

That’s why ADI is such a clean fit. You develop your identity and pitch in Campus, then you can bring that sharper positioning into A and R sessions, sync submissions, and real world rooms when CAMP comes around.

It’s not random education. It’s development that connects to opportunities.

How to come prepared

If you want to get the most out of ADI inside Campus, show up with something to work with.

Bring your current one liner as an artist, even if it’s rough. Bring your main artist profile. Bring your willingness to be specific.

Because that’s the whole point of March.

When you leave this month, you shouldn’t just feel inspired.

You should feel defined.
